Parent and Child Groups
Our Parent & Child Groups provide a nurturing and enriching space for families to connect, play, and learn together. Inspired by Steiner Waldorf principles, these sessions embrace rhythm, nature, and creativity, offering a gentle and supportive environment for young children and their caregivers.
A Warm & Welcoming Atmosphere
We believe childhood should be unhurried and joyful, filled with rich sensory experiences and a strong sense of security. Our groups take place in a warm, home-like setting or outdoors in beautiful natural surroundings, where children feel safe to explore, play, and engage in meaningful activities alongside their caregivers.
A Gentle Rhythm to the Day
Children thrive on predictable rhythms that bring a sense of calm and belonging. Our sessions follow a gentle flow:
A Welcoming Circle – A time for parents to settle in with a warm drink while children explore simple, open-ended toys made from natural materials.
Seasonal Crafts & Baking – Engaging in hands-on activities inspired by nature and the seasons, such as making felted wool animals, kneading bread, or creating simple lanterns for seasonal festivals.
Outdoor Exploration & Free Play – Time to wander through woodland spaces, dig in the garden, or play with natural materials, encouraging physical movement and imaginative play.
Song, Story & Closing Circle – Each session ends with a seasonal song and a simple puppet story, gently guiding children toward a peaceful transition home.
